Angie’s List Transforms into ANGI Homeservices with HomeAdvisor Merger

I had been a member of Angie’s List for many years.  I appreciated the fact that most members were looking for honest feedback on contractors and Angie’s List employees vetted the contractors on the website.  I found some of my best contractors who I still use and recommend on the service a number of years ago.  Once platforms like Yelp and HomeAdvisors came along which are free platforms, I knew Angie’s List would not be able to be able to hold out unless they could really differentiate themselves and show value for the membership fee.  The fee was dropped a few years ago, but I think the stigma of it still being a fee based system stuck with it.  I am looking forward to seeing the power of the new combined product ANGI Homeservices.
