Fresh Bagels, Friendly Staff—Even at Closing Time

Stopped into Einstein Bros. Bagels in Madeira as part of my Yelp Elite adventures—and yes, I walked in about 10 minutes before closing. Even so, the staff was incredibly pleasant and welcoming, which immediately set the tone.

The location sits on a busy corner but has plenty of parking in the shopping center, and it’s very easy to find. Inside, the restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had lots of seating, which I always appreciate.

Given the timing, I didn’t expect a huge selection, so I ordered a half dozen bagels with shmear and a Diet Coke (which came as part of the package). I asked for three everything and three plain, but they were out of plain—which actually worked out in my favor because I was having second thoughts and decided I really wanted cinnamon and sugar. Both the everything and cinnamon sugar bagels were fresh, flavorful, and exactly how I like them: a little crunch on the outside and soft on the inside.

Overall, a great experience, especially considering how close it was to closing time. I’m a big bagel (and bagel sandwich) fan, and this visit definitely has me looking forward to trying other Einstein Bros. locations in the future.
