It is time to declutter! Please join us for an Oakbrook Community Yard Sale!

3rd Weekend of September!

Friday, September 15th through Sunday September 17th – Choose the dates, times you would like to be open.

 Please pinpoint your house on the google map below so that shoppers know were to go to find treasures.  The google map updates anytime someone adds to it. That way everyone will see the new ads. 

When you get to the google map at the bottom of the page, follow these instructions to make sure you add your pin under the correct layer. This works best on a computer or laptops, people have problems adding their pins on phones or tablets.

PLEASE follow the step below carefully, otherwise you will have problems and your listing will not show up correctly.

  1. In the far right-hand corner, there will be an icon at the top and when you hover over it, it will say view larger map. Once you click that it will direct you to a new window. 
  2. Once this window opens, you will see a share and edit button. You want to click the edit, once you do this. It will take you directly to the map where you can pinpoint your home. 
  3. On the left-hand side of this page, make sure you click the second layer “Participating Houses” and uncheck What, When, Where.  This is important, if you do not do this, it will put your sale information as a ? icon on the map and not list you in the participating house area.
  4. To pinpoint your home, look for the search bar and right under it you will see a marker icon (looks like a raindrop), click that, and then click on where you would like to place the maker. 
  5. In the first field – Change the word Point followed by a number to your address. That way your address will show in the list to the left under Participating Houses.
  6. In the second field add your address, dates, times, highlight items you are selling and payment methods accepted. Click Save. Your maker will then show up red.   To enter information on a second line on a computer, Press Ctrl & Enter at the same time for a new line.
  7. Double check to make sure your sale is a Pin drop, not a ? mark. If it shows as a ?, please delete and follow from Step 3 again.

Sellers – When you add your pin, make sure you list your address, dates, times, any items you wish to highlight and payment methods accepted.  If you would like a sign for your yard, please send a message in the GroupMe app with your address. Due to increase in number of sales, I can longer provide a yard sign for free, if you would like a yard sign, they are $10 (my cost), my Venmo will be placed in the GroupMe.  You may keep the yard sign for your future use. If you do not plan to use it again, we would love to re-use, please return to 6201 Fox Run Ln.
